  2. Install TestFlight from the App Store if you do not have it, then tap Accept and Install.
  3. Open Rumis, sign in with Apple or Google, and create your home — or join one with an invitation.

Android

Rumis for Android is on its way. Until it lands, everyone who joins a home needs an iPhone or an iPad.

It is being built to use the same homes and the same accounts, so nobody will have to start again.

What is TestFlight?

TestFlight is Apple’s own, free app for trying apps before they are released on the App Store. Open the invitation link on your iPhone or iPad, install TestFlight when asked, and it installs Rumis and keeps it up to date.

Which devices does Rumis work on?

iPhone and iPad, running iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later. There is no Android or web version yet.

When is Android coming?

It is on the way, and it is being built to share the same homes and accounts as the iPhone app. Until then, everyone in a home needs an iPhone or an iPad to join it.

Is Rumis free?

Yes. The beta is free, and one home with up to five people will stay free, with unlimited chores, shopping items and expenses. An optional Rumis Pro upgrade is for more homes or bigger households.

Does everyone in my home need an account?

Yes — everyone signs in with Apple or Google, so the home follows them to a new phone. You invite people with a link or a QR code from inside your home.

Does Rumis move money?

No. Rumis records what people paid and works out who owes whom. You pay each other however you like, then record the payment in Rumis.

What happens to my home when the beta ends?

Your homes are stored with your account rather than on your phone, so moving to the App Store version will not mean starting again. Each TestFlight build lasts up to 90 days; TestFlight offers the next one before it expires.
